Star Wars

This was one of the most compelling cases of usability testing changing the direction of a project. Originally it was believed that fans of the Star Wars franchise would be techies, and as such a feature set was proposed and budgeted that reflected that. After usability testing it became clear that this assumption was entirely off the mark. Fans were into rich detail, at varying levels. Adjustments were made. Money was saved. Everyone is happy.
